About the Role:
We are seeking a highly driven Technical Project Manager to lead delivery and execution for a business-critical enterprise platform built on Angular and Java-based monolithic architecture.
This role requires a strong project leader who can effectively bridge business and technology, drive execution rigor, manage client expectations, and ensure predictable delivery outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of software engineering concepts, project management, client engagement, and AI-assisted software development practices. While this is not a hands-on engineering role, the individual must be technically conversant enough to engage with architects, developers, and product stakeholders, identify risks, and make informed delivery decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end project planning, execution, governance, and delivery.
- Drive sprint execution, release planning, milestone tracking, and project health.
- Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Manage stakeholder communication, risks, dependencies, and escalations.
- Serve as the primary delivery interface for US-based clients and stakeholders.
- Motivate teams, improve accountability, and foster a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with architects and engineering leads on delivery planning and technical risk assessment.
- Promote adoption of AI-assisted SDLC practices across development, testing, documentation, and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SDLC processes, and release governance.
- Drive project recovery and stabilization efforts for challenging client engagements.
Required Skills
- 9–12 years of overall IT experience.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or Engineering Project Manager.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Good understanding of Java-based enterprise applications and Angular/web technologies.
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Experience managing distributed engineering teams.
- Strong experience running Scrum ceremonies and Agile delivery processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with direct US client interaction experience.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing Angular and Java-based enterprise applications.
- Experience with legacy application modernization initiatives.
- Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools and AI-enabled delivery workflows.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Experience recovering troubled projects or managing difficult client situations.
