How Techment helped you build your core conviction as a technology expert?
Hi, I am Abhyas. I have been working as a Senior Software Engineer at Techment for seven years. I joined Techment as a fresher and had a lot to learn about the technologies used in the industry. I was determined to grow and excel in my journey as a software engineer.
In the first year, I focused on learning the technologies used at Techment. I was upskilled by attending workshops and taking relevant courses to update myself in data structures, algorithms, and programming languages. I worked hard to use the given learning opportunities fully and learned the codebase and the development process used by my team.
By the end of the second year, I was recognized as a reliable and skilled engineer by my team and management. I was also given the opportunity to mentor my junior teammates and lead projects. I was applauded by the management for my leadership skills and technical skills.
In the third year, I was made to handle a major project. I worked closely with the product team to define requirements, design the architecture, and implement the project. The project was successfully completed with team’s continuous support and guidance of my mentors. I was awarded a raise and a promotion. By now, I had become an integral part of the Techment’s engineering team.
n the fourth and fifth years, I continue to upskill myself with new technologies which is a regular feature of my organization. I was made a part of the critical projects and was given more responsibility and opportunities to work on strategic initiatives.
In the sixth year, I was promoted to Senior Software engineer. At present, I continue to learn and grow and help to shape Techment’s engineering culture by mentoring my new team members. I am a highly motivated and curious individual who enjoys taking on new challenges and striving for success.
