Job Description

Collaborating with the executive team to assess and recommend technologies in support of company needs. Design and development experience in modern platforms using Dot Net, MVC, Cloud Native Solutions, DevOps, Containers, Micro services. Ability to research and understand new technology solutions and present essential comparisons, pros/cons, and target use cases.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Creating technology standards and practices and ensuring adherence
• Leading the strategy for technology platforms
• Overseeing research and development as well as special projects
• Technically supervising software development and testing
• Anticipating and reacting to major technology changes
• Developing technology contingency plans to keep projects on track
• Collaborating with the executive team to assess and recommend technologies in support of company needs

• Certification in Architectural Courses
• Assess the business impact of certain technical choices.

Skills

• Proficient understanding of developing Web-services, HTML UI, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with performing code reviews and recommending automated review tools
• Experience working in an agile environment. Ability to create a high level work breakdown for a large component into clear, phased deliverables. And then accurately estimate and track the work, within an agile framework, to definition of done
• Experience in designing scalable Java and RDBMS based web & mobile applications, designing and executing performance and scalability tests, and performance profiling
• Design and development experience in modern platforms using REST/API integration, Cloud Native Solutions, Containers, Micro services
• Assess the systems architecture currently in place and work with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.
• Ability to research and understand new technology solutions and present essential comparisons, pros/cons, and target use cases.
• Resolve technical problems as they arise and provide guidance to development teams.
• Inform various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.
• Assess the business impact of certain technical choices.
• Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.
• Closely work with the CTO on developing the Technological edge of the organization.
• Creating overall technology standards and practices and ensuring adherence
• Leading the strategy for technology platforms.
