Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing, cleaning, and building predictive models using historical data to optimize operations and enhance productivity. This role will involve collaborating closely with our Data Architect in both Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and machine learning initiatives. The candidate will leverage Azure technologies, particularly Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), to drive innovation and maximize output in our operations. Roles & Responsibilities

• Source, clean, and preprocess four years of historical data to prepare it for analysis and modeling.
• Collaborate with the Data Architect to design and implement efficient ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

• Develop and deploy machine learning models to predict operational outcomes and optimize processes.

• Evaluate and fine-tune models to improve performance and accuracy.

• Monitor model performance in production and implement necessary adjustments.

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning techniques and tools.

• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in machine learning, data engineering, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming and machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and implementing ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of delivering successful machine learning projects from conception to deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
