Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Techment look like?

I work with a bunch of like-minded geeks from several departments across the company. As a QA, I am deeply absorbed in building an automation framework and then spend my time running manual tests, which sometimes bring failure. But in Techment, failures pave the path to innovation and learning something new!

I have colleagues who ensure I understand how we are hitting the mark. Seniors are supportive and open to discussions. These discussions clear up any missed requirements or misunderstandings early on, saving lots of effort.

How do you feel about your role as QA in Techment?

Being a QA, I need to interact with development teams where we get updates on the delivery progress. This needs consistent collaboration between QA and development teams, which sometimes becomes challenging.

But, Techment distinguishes itself as a company where professional silos do not restrict knowledge-sharing. The enthusiasm and commitment of my colleagues enable me to collaborate with my team seamlessly.

Also, my professional development was characterized by significant growth across several functional areas:

What inspired your journey back to your roots?

I have always kept my aspirations high when it comes to career growth, but at the same time, I also desired family support and warmth. The hustle and bustle of the metro city where I lived made my schedule highly hectic, leaving me with little time for personal development and growth.

I missed many opportunities that could have helped me grow personally and professionally. That’s when I started searching for an option near my hometown to build a support structure. Thankfully, Techment happened to me, and I couldn’t let go of this opportunity.

What aspects of Techment make it truly stand out for you?

Working in Techment always brings a sense of fulfillment and contentment as I can pursue my ambitions without compromising the quality of time spent with my family and friends.
